Our Mission

Bartlett Academy of Artistic Gymnastics and its dedicated staff are committed to providing children of all ages and abilities a fun and safe gymnastics learning experience. We believe that a strong gymnastics program is the foundation to all sport movement and will allow children to excel in any sport they wish to pursue. We are committed to providing all children the opportunity to participate in the sport of gymnastics both recreationally as well as competitively.

Our Coaches and Staff


Our diverse coaching staff at Bartlett Gymnastics includes Olympians, Junior Elite Gymnasts, National
Tumbling Champions, State Champions and coaches with many years of experience. One thing they all share is their love for teaching gymnastics! Our coaches regularly attend seminars and hands-on training courses to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques.

Beth Boshold

Beth coaches our Xcel Team, Development Team and Recreational and Preschool Gymnastics. She has been coaching gymnastics for over 20 years, the past 17 years at Bartlett Gymnastics her “2nd home.” She started in the sport when she was two and competed through her high school years.

Matt Cacciatore

Matt coaches our Men’s Team, Women’s Team, Development program and Recreational gymnastics. He competed for the Bartlett Gymnastics team and started coaching when he was 16.

Coach Vic has been enthusiastically coaching recreational gymnastics at Bartlett for many years!

Terry Perreault

Coach Terry is our Preschool Program Director. She has been coaching gymnastics for over 20 years and has been with Bartlett since opening. She develops all our preschool programs and ensures we follow the USAG guidelines for development.

Erik Howorth

Erik is the co-head coach of the JO Women’s Gymnastics Team.  He has been involved with gymnastics for over 25 years and was  a Junior Elite Gymnast.  Erik trained for five years to be a women’s gymnastics coach under one of Romanian’s former National Team Coaches and he trained as a coach in at the Germany National Training Center. Erik also coaches each summer at the University of Illinois-Chicago’s annual gymnastics camp.

Kelley Kenders

Kelley is the gym manager and part owner of Bartlett Gymnastics. She has been a part of Bartlett Gymnastics since 1997. She was a competitive gymnast and cheerleader growing up. Kelley began at Bartlett coaching preschool, recreational, developmental and team gymnastics and in 2002 Kelley took on a bigger responsibility as the gym manager.

Theresa Kiel

Theresa coaches our Women’s compulsory JO Team and has been coaching gymnastics for over 13 years. She was a varsity gymnast and cheerleader at Bartlett High School and was a cheerleader for Northern Illinois University. She is a certified Indiana High School Gymnastics Judge and she was a clinician at the 2007 and 2008 Illinois USAG Gymnastics State Congress.

Mieko Mori Lindner

Mieko is the co-head coach of the JO Women’s Gymnastics Team.  She was an Olympic Gymnast, competing for Japan in Seoul, Korea. She was a member of the Japanese National team for 7 years and competed at numerous World Championships. She was a an International Judge and judged the Japan National Championships from 1991-1997. She has been coaching gymnastics for over 25 years.

Tonda Lyons

Coach Tonda is part of our Xcel team coaching staff. She has been coaching cheer and tumbling for over 13 years and was a cheerleader in high school and at Howard University.

Victor Narkevich

Victor coaches our Women’s Xcel Team. He competed for Russia at the National Trampoline Championships, and was the Belarus Trampoline Champion from 1972-1976. He was the teeterboard Coach for Circus Du Soliel “Kooza” in Montreal, Canada, and he was the founder, performer, and coach of the teeterboard acts for the Russian Circus. He was also the trampoline coach for the Belarus National Olympic Diving Team.
